Obituary of Pete Topulos

Pete Topulos, a long time resident of Santa Cruz passed away on August 27, 2010 at the age of 81. Born in Fresno to Angelo and Mary Topulos, Pete remained in the area until 1963 when he and his family moved to Coalinga, CA. Pete dedicated thirty years to educating the youth in the Fresno, Huron and San Jose areas, mainly focusing on social studies. After retiring, Pete owned and operated local beverage establishments. Pete was a passionate man. He devoted so much of his life to restoring his 1965 409 and a 1955 T-Bird. He was a lifelong member of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks. He also loved watching sports, especially football and baseball. More than anything though, Pete loved being in the company of his friends and family. Pete is survived by his wife of 54 years, Katherine Topulos and their two children; Adriane (Bob) Stafford of Fremont, CA. and Kent Topulos of Mountain House, CA. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; Nicole and Ashley Stafford and Tyler Topulos. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
