Trini was dedicated to her nine children, their families, and to her community. She moved from her native Kauai to Philippine Islands as a child. At the age of 13, she moved to the United States, traveling alone, to live with her aunt and uncle in Isleton, California. She attended the local school in Isleton and worked in her aunt and uncle’s store. Her beloved husband of 67 years, Celedonio, preceded her in death in 2009.
For more than 40 years, Trini was a dedicated volunteer in the outreach services for the Filipino Community in Davenport, where she was respected for devotion to that community. Trini was a long time parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, where she served on the altar society.
