52 Year Resident of Santa Cruz

 

A private family ceremony was held for Linda Sims who passed away at Dominican Hospital in Santa Cruz, with her loving family at her bedside. Born in Ellensburg, Washington, she was 68 years old. Linda moved with her family to Santa Cruz at age 17.  She worked for Seagate Technologies at an early age, and for many years, was a purchasing specialist at Threshold Enterprises in Scotts Valley. She leaves many dear friends and colleagues who worked with her in the wellness and supplemental health care product industry.

 

Linda was very accomplished at both sewing and cross stitching, and created many beautiful quilts and gifts for her friends and loved ones.


 

Linda is survived by her daughters Pamela Bright of Santa Cruz, Tonya Scofield of Watsonville, and Selena Martin of Santa Cruz. She also leaves her mother, Lois Ann Sims of Modesto, and her brothers Ron Sims, Philip Sims, Richard Sims, and her sister, Kathy Sidel. Linda was very proud of her loving grandchildren: April, Alex, Joseph and Nathaniel, and great grandchildren: Jonathan, Nevaeh, Cameron, and Jordan. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Sims, her brother, Ed Sims,son-in-law Jason Scofield and her infant granddaughter Anastasia.
