Obituary of Peter Anthony Rinaldi

On September 12th at 7:30 pm, a memorial services has been planned for Peter Anthony Rinaldi who lost his two and a half year battle with cancer. He was 46. He remained loving, quick witted and positive to the end.

He leaves behind with great sadness his parents, Julio and Janice Rinaldi, his sister Amy Alden and brother in law Steve Alden, nephew Spencer and niece Angela. Peter also leaves many relatives and life- long friends.

Peter (aka Rocco) leaves a job he loved at Bargetto Winery in Soquel and friends there too. He would say “Great people make great wine”!

Peter always liked to do nice things for people, so in lieu of flowers, do something nice for someone you love, or make a donation to St. Jude’s Cancer Research.

We would like to thank Hospice for being so helpful. They made our last days with him easier to bear.

We know that nothing will be able to replace Peter’s handsome face and charming ways. He has left us too soon, but we will have many memories of a wonderful human being. He was ours and we loved him so much, but God and Peter need us now to say good bye and find strength in what remains behind.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday September 12th at 7:30 pm at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St, Santa Cruz, CA.
