Obituary of Kathleen M Jagger

Kathleen M. Jagger

On September 16th, 2018, Kathleen passed away peacefully at home in Santa Cruz, CA after an 8 year battle with ALS. She was surrounded by her husband Patrick and her 2 children, Faith and Justen.

Born August 10, 1959 in Bakersfield, Ca to Gerald and Patricia (Belcourt) Rowles, she was the youngest of 3 children. Kathy graduated from Foothill High School in 1977 and later attended Cabrillo College studying art.

Kathy married Randle Watts on June 14, 1983 and 2 years later gave birth to their daughter Faith. Randy passed away the following year after a long battle with brain cancer.

In 1987, Kathy moved to Santa Cruz, Ca and on September 18,1993, married her long time friend, Patrick Jagger. Nine months later, their son Justen was born.

Though she held several positions in her working career, nothing was more important to her than raising her 2 children. Kathy was a woman of faith, prayer warrior and loved serving the children at SCBC. She loved sewing and quilting and became an accomplished cake decorator and pastry chef. The best medicine for her in her final years was being with her 2 grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick; daughter, Faith Eppard; son, Justen Jagger; 2 grandchildren, Hannah (4) and Israel (Izzy)(2) Eppard; father, Gerald Rowles; step-mother, Patsy Rowles; 2 brothers, Shawn and Terry Rowles; half-sister, Heather Baameur; step-siblings, Frances Eddy, Marty and Kevin Payton; Aunt Pat Bonas; Uncles: Harry (Buddy) and Mike Rowles; 34 nieces and nephews

Her remains will be placed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz, Ca in a private service.

Kathy was loved and adored by everyone she met. A celebration of her life is planned for Saturday, November 10th at Santa Cruz Bible Church, 440 Frederick St, Santa Cruz, CA at 1pm.
