Lou, we didn't get to go fishing nearly enough together, or talk about the old country (Croatia), or hear enough funny stories you shared, or going exploring to see where the different roads lead to. We miss you, but we are not without hope. We are looking forward to eternity of fun and laughter together. Love you and Sue.

He was such a loving Christian brother of ours and we are so thankful to have shared life with him the past several years. Miss him and his good humor tremendously and can hardly imagine Sue without her sidekick.

Sue and family,
We were saddened to hear about Lou's passing. I'm FINALLY sitting here in my new house he helped design-- and looking out the window and thinking of him. I so wish he could see the fruits of his labor. His legacy lives on through his loving family, as well as all the houses and offices he helped build.
May you take comfort in your memories.
Sheri and Roxy Bernstein

Dear Sue, Chuck, and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. My Dad, also, was an architect and builder and was strong, kind, and brilliant but also suffered and passed away from brain cancer - I feel your pain. Lou was such a great man - always kind, witty, and giving. We know he is enjoying the presence of the Lord and all the beautiful awesomeness of Heaven. He is completely whole and now fully alive. None-the-less, it is hard on us that are missing him. Unfortunately, we won't be able to join you for Lou's memorial :-( We pray for peace and strength for you.

Lou was an exceptional person in many ways. He was sincere, kind, honorable, highly professional, and modest. He was the architect of several residential projects that we had in the past 15 years. I always had a tremendous respect for his knowledge, creativity and understanding of the architectural challenges.
May he Rest In Peace.
Me sincere condolences to Sue and all his family
