Obituary of Maureen Rose Ingham

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on February 13th, in Santa Clara for Maureen Ingham who passed away peacefully at her Santa Cruz home following a brave battle that she fought against cancer. Born in Santa Clara, she was 61 years old.
Maureen graduated from Santa Clara University earning her degree in Liberal Arts. A Technical Illustrator for more than 30 years, she first formed her own company, and at the onset of Silicon Valley computer boom, she honed her skills as a technical writer working with Hewlett Packard and Apple. Maureen was active in the Sterling Institute of Relationship for over 24 years. She served on the troop committee as the Secretary for BSA Troop 618 in Santa Cruz CA.
What epitomizes Maureen is that she lived well, laughed often, and loved much.
Many family memories will be cherished of Maureen’s garden which was her Zen area. After her diagnosis and failing health began to slow her, she became a caregiver for Parkinson’s patients. The beautiful flowers that she grew, and the many people whom she cared for and loved is how she will be fondly remembered.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Roger Ingham and her son William Ingham of Santa Cruz; her mother Nina Flores of Santa Clara, her sister, Michele Tarter of San Jose, and a host of loving cousins, aunts uncles, nieces and nephews of the Trujillo, Flores, and Tarter families whom reside in the Santa Clara Valley, Apple Valley and LA Area.
Maureen was preceded in death by her father, Mike Flores, and her two brothers, Anthony and Ron Flores.
The mass will be held at St. Clare’s Parish (941 Lexington Street, Santa Clara, CA 95050) on Wednesday February 13, 2019, beginning at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her father at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Any kind acts of charity can be made to
