Ode to Debbie
Seven days ago today
Sweet Deborah went on her way
She went to knock on Heaven's door
To be with loved ones that had gone before
As I bent over, her forehead I kissed
Whispered in her ear, Love you are already missed
On the wings of a dove I picture she flew
Dearest Deb know that we all love you
Just take the Lord by his hand
and let him show you the land
Where you have gone, you are not alone
The light of God, upon you, surely has shown
R.I.P. My love
