Marjorie Peck

Obituary of Marjorie Jeanne Peck

It is with deep sorrow and much love, that we mourn the passing of our “Mimi”, Marge Peck, who passed with her loving family at her bedside at the age of 90. She was born to Ralph and Dorothy Fay on April 5, 1931 in Stockton, California. She married Fred Peck on July 24, 1948 and they had two children, Cindy and Randy.  They moved to Santa Cruz where they raised their family.

Affectionately known to her loved ones and friends as “Mimi” and “Mother Marge”, She worked as a school secretary at Stagg High School in Stockton and Soquel High School from its opening in 1962, and retiring in 1993.

One of her biggest passions was working as a travel agent and traveling the world.  She had a great love for her family and the many others she considered as her family.  She loved to entertain, attend San Francisco Ballet performances, movies, and sporting events.  Her family and friends will continue to cherish the many stories she shared of places visited and the devotion and love she gave to each of them.

Marge leaves behind her daughter Cindy Bettencourt, her grandchildren: Jennifer Spence (Steve), Justin Jensen (Jenielle) Courtney Bettencourt, and great grandchildren: Tanner Spence, Carson Spence, Taylor Spence, Blake Jensen, and Parker Jensen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, her husband Fred, and her son Randy.
