Obituary of Alexis Hope LaMotte

Alexis Hope LaMotte Alexis Hope LaMotte passed away September 20, 2010 at Sub-Acute Saratoga Hospital. She was 18 years old. Alexis was born in Palo Alto on August 3, 1992. She resided in Santa Cruz, Fresno, San Mateo and Saratoga. She attended Santa Cruz Gardens and Green Acres School in Santa Cruz and later attended Sub-Acute Saratoga Hospital School. She loved music especially the blues, taking walks, dancing, social activities and school. Lexy was born with numerous disabilities and endured many struggles in her life. In spite of her struggles she was a very happy person who raised the spirits and brought joy to everyone whose life she touched. She is survived by her mother, Rochelle McCoy of Aptos; her brother, Robin Paul McCoy; two sisters, Jessica Michelle LaMotte and Maegan Ann Earl and her grandparents, Roy and Clara Brace. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael John LaMotte in 2001. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz, CA on Saturday September 25, 2010 at 3:00 pm.
