Upon his graduation, Casey married his college sweetheart, Kathy Seymour. They joined the Peace Corps and moved to Venezuela. When they returned, they bought a home in Los Gatos and were blessed with a son, Cory. Unfortunately their marriage ended, whereupon Casey moved to the Santa Cruz area making it his home.
Casey cherished the time he spent with his son, making it to every baseball and soccer game he played and all of the important events of his son's life. Later in life they frequented Lake Tahoe every chance they had together. They were Best Buds.
Casey loved to golf, fish and watch horse races. He worked at the Shadowbrook restaurant for many years and called all of the employees, "His People."
