Mary was close friend of my mother's from their days growing up in Santa Cruz. I loved going to visit Mary, who's last name was Johnson at the time, because she was so much fun. That woman was always a joy to be around! She and my mother would sit in the Johnson family's kitchen on Pacheco Ave and tell stories that would have all of us laughing along with them. I treasure the memories I have of Mary and her wonderful sense of humor.

Aunt Mary was my mother's sister, and one of two of the siblings who lived in Santa Cruz. I have such fond memories as a child of going across town to visit her - though as a child my primary interest was in playing with my cousin Debbie, I remember her as always having a smile on her face, a positive attitude about life and a wonderful laugh (seems like many of the siblings had that "Moore laugh", which I've inherited!). She also was the prime mover in organizing the annual Moore family picnic, which was no small feat, given the large numbers of family members involved. My thoughts are with Debbie and her family.

Mary always had so much energy. Being around her a lot when I was young, I remember her being very carefree. I will never forget her laugh.
