Obituary of Lawrence William Haws

Lawrence William Haws Lawrence William Haws, a lifelong resident of Northern California passed away on August 20, 2010. He was 68. His wife, Jenese was by his side. Larry grew up in Woodside, Ca. where he attended Woodside Grammar and Menlo School. He graduated from Stanford University in 1964, where he also earned his MBA in 1967. After graduation, Larry worked for 11 years for Arthur Anderson in the tax department in San Francisco. In 1978 he left Arthur Anderson to devote himself full time to manage his Northern California properties. In 1969, he moved his family to Santa Cruz to pursue his passion of boating and the restoration of Victorian homes. He is survived by his wife, Jenese; son, Greg; daughter, Lindsay; sister, Merideth; brother, Ryan; and his 3 grand daughters, Campbell, Quincy, and Sidney. A Service will be held for Larry on Saturday, September 11th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 960 Brommer St. in Santa Cruz, beginning at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Larry's name to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Dr., Scotts Valley, Ca 95066.
