Mike,
Thanks for your great friendship. I learned what it's like to be brave from you. Like I said to you the other day, "our life is short on this earth." We have eternity to be friends again. So until we me again on heavens shores I'll be missing you old chum.

My Dear Friend Mike, Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me. I will alway remember the deep felt talks while in front of my fire pit, or on your deck watching the sunset. I always enjoyed laughing with you and the walks we took in the harbor. On more then one occasion did we toasted our wine glasses to life and the joys of living it.....and you lived it well. You had a great life and a wonderful, loving, supporting family. I always enjoyed watching your travel videos and listening to your tales of the family trips. A lot was revealed about your character, as you shared the tricks you played on Donnie and the other friends you grew up with. You were quite funny and seemed to enjoy reliving those stories. I honor you Mike, for all the positive views you held for your life and the world we all live in, and for living it with such presence of mind and heart. I hold up my glass again and toast to you, were ever you are, and to your life here with all of us. I toast to this new journey for you. May it be spectacular. Love Laura

Rest in peace my old friend, Mike. You were an awesome guy. But, I don't have to remind anyone of that. Your family and friends were so fortunate to have had you in their lives. That includes me. I only wish it could have been longer. You lived life to the fullest, though! And, that's what counts. And, now you will go back to your beloved sea and we'll celebrate your life here on Earth. Peace be with you, my friend.
~ Always, Lindsay

When my Son Darryl and I went to the pier for a boat ride a few years ago, Mike was at the desk and gave us free passes. Quite unexpected. That was very kind of him.
