Obituary of Nicholas Rich

No services will be held for Nicholas Rich who passed away on March 31, 2011, in Santa Cruz. Nick was a New Jersey native born on December 8, 1914. Over 35 years ago, he and his wife, Margaret, moved from Southern California to Santa Cruz. Nick worked as a plumbing contractor for 50 years and throughout his career was a member of UA Plumbers Local Union 78, Los Angeles. In his free time, Nick enjoyed bowling and in his younger years learned to pilot planes. He enjoyed walking along West Cliff in the company of his dog, Tiger, and visiting with friends and neighbors. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, and his two sons, Angelo Riccio and Nick Rich, Jr. Nick is also survived by his brother, Sylvio Fama, and his sister, Clara Olson.
