Obituary of Robert Norman Eddy

Robert Eddy Services will be on Saturday for Robert Eddy who died of heart failure on June 25, at Dominican Hospital. He was 56 years old. Born on March 16, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas, he moved to Boulder Creek 4 years ago, and prior to that, lived in San Jose for 20 years. After graduation from Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, he enlisted in the Navy and served in latter part of the Viet Nam War. Following his military service, he moved to San Jose and became a member of the IBEW. His career as an electrician spanned over 30 years. He was a member of Mayfair American Legion Post # 791 in San Jose. He loved NASCAR, kite flying, and beach concerts. Mr. Eddy was adamant animal rights proponent. Survivors; fiancée, Kim Dileo of Boulder Creek, stepchildren: Jake Campbell of Visalia, and Kendra Waner of Washington. brothers; Cal Deason of Boulder Creek, and Ron Eddy of Oklahoma. Sister: Margie Webster of Magalia, CA. and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Boulder Creek Community Church, 13090 Highway 9, Boulder Creek, Ca. A Celebration of Life follows at the Junction Park. Cremation is by Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, Santa Cruz, Ca. Donations to Santa Cruz SPCA, 2685 Chanticleer Ave, Santa Cruz, Ca.
