Obituary of Barbara Jean Vinolus

Services will be held in Santa Cruz this Tuesday for Barbara Vinolus who passed away at her home at the age of 62.  Born in Lackawanna, New York, she earned her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University, and her Master’s Degree from Middlebury College.  Moving to California in 1983, she was a much-loved French teacher who enjoyed working with young people.

For more than 25 years, she worked as a language arts teacher. Barbara moved to Capitola 15 years ago, and leaves many friends, colleagues and young people who were benefactors of her dedication and knowledge.

The memorial ceremony will be held for Barbara at Santa Cruz Bible Church (440 Frederick Street- Santa Cruz 95062 on Tuesday evening, November 23, 2021 beginning at 6 p.m.

Committal will be private in Eugene Oregon.

Barbara leaves her parents Marge and Stacey Vinolus, her sisters and brothers-in-law; Elaine and Kim Mitchell, Evelyn and Robert Johnson, her sister Stacy Lee Vinolus; her brothers and sisters-in-law; Nicholas and Domarith Vinolus, Thomas and Elizabeth Vinolus, and her beloved nieces and nephews.
