Joanne, Don and family,
Your mom was a remarkable woman. She always kept up with current events and could converse on any subject! When my own mother died, my brother had occasion to meet her and chat with her. He came to me and said she was really a 'firecracker' and he enjoyed getting to know her. That is a wonderful legacy.
Love to all
Mary

Nadine (Tognetti) Nelson posted a condolence
Hi Don, Joanne, Richard, and family. I could not believe Don's phone mail that said that Bruna had passed. The five Tognetti children are gone. I know that Bruna will say, "Hi" to my dad, in heaven, for me. Bruna never let any grass grow under her feet. I enjoyed all her writings, expecially those about our family history. I echo what Dick and MiMi wrote, "Thank God she wrote as much as she did because she was the only family "historian" we ever had". I will miss Bruna very much. I feel blessed to be apart of this family. Nadine

Hi Don, Joanne, Richard, & Family,
We are, of course, going to miss our "Auntie Bruna", but the Bruna stories will go on for years to come. She certainly was the most active and involved "senior" we've ever known and she never stopped staying connected to everything. Every visit yielded a new discussion of current events and always ended with grand memories of Yosemite. Thank God she wrote as much as she did because she was the only family "historian" we ever had. We've got every one of her books and we'll pass them down to our children (and their children). We send all our love to you and look forward to seeing you soon. Love//Dick & MiMi
