Obituary of Norma Mae Pulle

Norma Pulle Graveside services will be held on Monday in Santa Cruz for Norma Pulle who passed away in Santa Cruz on Sunday, March 6, 2011, at the age of 83. She has been a resident of Santa Cruz County for the past 70 years. A graduate of Santa Cruz High School, she was a long time resident of Soquel. Norma was an accomplished horse trainer, and recognized throughout the equestrian organizations, and stable owners of the county for her successful career that spanned over 40 years. Norma was also a published writer - her latest novel OUTNUMBERED is available from Amazon.com. Norma is predeceased by her parents, John & Marjorie Pulle, sisters June Bishop and Lucille Wessell. She is survived by Ann Stout of Santa Cruz, Alan Bishop of Monterey, Alison Heidemann of Alaska and Kristle Hales of South Carolina. She leaves many dear friends and colleagues, including Tere Carrubba of Aptos, Amber Ash Lupo of Sacramento, and Sandy Rudd of Soquel. Norma was preceded in death by her father, John W. Pulle; her mother, Marjorie Pulle, and her two sisters; June Bishop, and Lucille Wessell. Friends are invited to a graveside ceremony at Oakwood Cemetery (3301 Paul Sweet Rd) Monday, March 14th, beginning at 3 p.m. Please bring your favorite memories of Norma.
