Obituary of Marian Ellen Gray

Marian Ellen Gray passed away June 25, 2010 in Santa Cruz. She was 95. Marian was born on August 30, 1914 in Pendleton, Oregon to Ernest and Ellen Draper. She has resided in Santa Cruz for the past 27 years. Marian was a life long member of the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. She was active in congregations in Pendleton, OR, Milton-Freewater, OR, Hermiston, OR, and Santa Cruz, CA. Marian was predeceased by her loving husband, Don Gray; grandson, Don Johnson; her parents and her siblings. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Jones, of San Jose, CA, and Janet Johnson of Soquel, CA. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Olney Cemetery in Pendleton, OR. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your favorite charity or Heartland Hospice, 824 Bay Ave. #4, Capitola, CA 95010. Arrangements are under the direction of Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz.
