
Obituary of Sharon Fae Ruskin
October 25, 1942 – February 22, 2022

Graveside services were held on 3/3 in honoring of Sharon Fae Ruskin who passed away on 2/22/22 in Santa Cruz, CA. She passed peacefully surrounded by the love, song and prayers of her family.
Sharon Fae was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Fanny and Samuel Wolberg, the older of twins. She married the love of her life, Harry Ruskin on June 19, 1966. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Missouri in 1967 as an Honorary member of the Dean’s List. Sharon went on to raise their 3 beautiful children. She was a Certified Light Worker, and honored by the Crusade for Freedom. Sharon was a long time congregant of Ohev Shalom and a member of the Ohev Shalom Sisterhood of Kansas City, KS. She was deeply devoted to her family, and leaves many dear friends in her communities.
She will forever be cherished as a devoted, loving wife and mother. She will be missed for her fierce devotion to those she loved, her sweetness, her sense of humor, her sharp intelligence, and her amazing hugs. Sharon was a true Superwoman.
She is survived by her husband Harry Ruskin of Santa Cruz, CA; daughters, Jennifer Renee Ruskin of San Jose, CA; Angela Ruskin; and Jeannine Maria Ruskin of Santa Cruz, CA. Sharon also leaves her sister Gloria Kahan of Cleveland, Ohio, and her twin sister Shirley Harris of Boca Raton, Florida. Her older brother Jerry Wolberg, and older sister Natalie Sue Weiler preceded her in death.
Burial took place at Beit Olam Cemetery in Soquel, California on Thursday March 3, 2022. It is suggested that a kind act of charity can be made in her memory to the Special Olympics in your area, and to Alzheimers/Dementia research and prevention.
