Life-long Resident of Santa Cruz
Services will be in Santa Cruz on July 14 for Mindy Boyd who passed away at Dominican Hospital from complications she suffered from a brain aneurysm.
Born in Santa Cruz, she was 45 years old. Mindy graduated from Santa Cruz High School and was talented craftsperson working with various knitting materials and sewing materials that she gifted to loved ones and friends. She loved working in her garden, playing Bingo, and traveling to Reno to be with her daughter and loved ones there.
Her two daughters will forever remember her as a loving and caring mom. Her fiery spirit and “get it done” attitude will be a lasting legacy and blueprint for her young family to follow. She also had a special love for her cats. Mindy had a passion for fishing, fairies, and above all, the complete happiness she received from time spent together with her girls regardless of what they were doing.
She leaves her two daughters; Jasmine Bijan and her partner Savanna of Reno, NV; and Isabella Huante of Santa Cruz. She also leaves her mother, Sherrie Boyd of Santa Cruz and was preceded in death by her father David Boyd.
Friends may pay their respects at the Circle Church at 111 Errett Circle in Santa Cruz on Thursday July 14th from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service will begin at the church at 11 a.m. and burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery (2271 7th Ave.) in Santa Cruz
