Obituary of Cristina Marie Tafoya

August 11, 1982 – August 1, 2022

Family and friends will gather in Santa Cruz on Friday, August 12 to say farewell to a loving mother, sister, and friend, Cristina Arreola who passed away unexpectedly just 10 days before celebrating her 40th birthday.

Cristina leaves her daughter’s Isabel Tafoya and Olivia Arreola, her son Miguel Arreola Jr. She also is survived by her sister Rae Ibarra, and her brother Anthony Tafoya.

There will be a visitation on Friday August 12 from 9:30 to 12:30 at Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. at Our lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (515 Frederick Street) in Santa Cruz, with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Santa Cruz.
