I spent many a day on Seascape Golf Course with Jim. In spite of his medical disability, he was a great & competitive golfer. He fought cancer harder than anyone that I have ever known. He was loved by many of us, at Seascape GC & has been truly missed.

I worked with Jim at Northern Telecom in Santa Clara, California. He and I often would walk around the campus at lunch and talk about everything. He had a great sense of humor and was a true gentleman. After we left Northern Telecom, we lost track of each other only to reconnect years later through golf. He became a regular golf mate of mine. We always played for money. He always won! I could have claimed him as a dependent on my income tax return. It was frustrating to watch him sometimes putt one handed which he did better than I did two handed! Lots of laughs, lots of golf highs and lows! I shall greatly miss our gentle giant.
