Obituary of Frank David Bowen

Frank David Bowen passed away in his sleep on March13, 2023. Frank was born on October 26, 1963 to Gary Michael Bowen and Shallon Tatianna Glover. He was a native of Santa Cruz and graduated from Santa Cruz High School. Throughout his life, Frank lived in Santa Cruz, in Germany while stationed in the Army, Merced, Modesto, Stockton, Sacramento, Watsonville, and few years of his early life in Zachary, Louisiana. Frank served in the US Army and worked as a truck driver for various companies in Northern California. Frank was a diehard 49ers fan! Frank is survived by his domestic partner of 20 years, Julee Costanza; father Gary Michael Bowen; daughter Cherise Marie Bowen; son Izack Nicholas Alejandrez; brothers Demetrius Glover, Gary Michael Bowen II, Stephen Bowen, and William Bowen; grandchildren Rory Willis and Keara Celestine; ex-wife Tina Hopping Johnson; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Frank is preceded in death by his mother, Shallon T. Glover. A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from4pm-8pm at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel,1050 Cayuga St, Santa Cruz, CA. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11am also at Benito& Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel. A Committal Service will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park 3301 Paul Sweet Rd in Santa Cruz, CA. Following the Committal Service, a Celebration of Frank's Life will be held at The Portuguese Hall of Santa Cruz located at 216 Evergreen St #2136,Santa Cruz, CA 95060 from 3pm-7pm.
