Jan 1, 1948 - Dec 11, 2018
My beloved wife of 51 years passed away on December 11, 2018 after a long battle with emphysema. Neet as she was often referred to was born in Elgin, Illinois where she had the distinction of being the first baby born in Elgin on New Year’s Day 1948. Working for the telephone company she decided to strike out on her own by driving cross country to take a position in the Boston Office. It was in Boston where we met and started our 51 year Journey. Over the years we lived in Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Illinois, New Hampshire, finally settling in beautiful Santa Cruz. She was a great partner who was always the level headed one when it came to making important decisions. She loved animals and was a strong advocate for their humane treatment by supporting no kill shelters and wild life sanctuaries. She left this earth thinking she did not make a big difference. But in actuality she touched many people with her kind heart and generosity. I will miss her every day and know in my heart we will meet again.
She is survived by her husband Ray, daughter Debbie Beaudoin, Granddaughter Alex Beaudoin, Grandson Brent Beaudoin, her mother Bonnie March, and her brothers Bill and Jeff March.
I want to thank the SC Fire and Police Depts for their quick response and valiant effort to help my wife.
A private service for family members will be held at Benito & Azzaro, Pacific Gardens Chapel.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to any the following organizations:
