Obituary of Joyce Ann Jones

Joyce passed away peacefully in her sleep, December 29, at the age of 85.  Born on March 7, 1935, an only child, to Robert and Evelyn Duvall in Monroe, MI, she was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents Ernest and Eva Pranke.  Joyce is survived by her husband of 39 years, Rodger N. Jones, sons Anthony Ruffo and Gary Tselepis, all of Santa Cruz and daughter Deborah Prosser of Stockton, CA, plus grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joyce was a resident of Santa Cruz for 60+ years and enjoyed the beautiful area, the ocean and all their wonders.  She was a real estate agent and homemaker, enjoying her home, rose gardens and spending quality time with her family. Joyce always had a deep love for horses and any horse activity or keepsake.  She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank the nursing and attendant staff at Driftwood HealthCare Center, Santa Cruz, for their kindness and the loving care she received.

Services and viewing have previously been held by the family.
