Obituary of Beatrice Madaline Washburn

Beatrice had many interests and hobbies that included knitting, crocheting, and needle point. She had a tremendous talent for creating special baby blankets for her family and friends. She was a volunteer for the Dominican Hospital Pharmacy, and also a member of the Santa Cruz ancient order of Druids. Beatrice had a soft spot for small dogs, and had several animal companions that she dearly loved throughout her life. Bea had a great love for nature and, the Italian Opera, and often said that seeing the Three Tenors featuring Pavarotti with her son Richard was a highlight in her life. She was also a phenomenal cook, creating every Italian dish to perfection. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by; her son Richard Crescini; her daughter in law Peg Behan; her granddaughters Dena Waite and Ona Bretches; her grandson Zalio Crescini; her 4 great-grandchildren;2 great-great-grandchildren;and numerous friends. Beatrice is preceded in death by her husbands; Pete Crescini and Paul Washburn. The services for Beatrice will be private.
