Obituary of Carolyn Sue Mobley, CKD

Born Carolyn Sue Dodson in Muncie IN. She was a young mother whose career started in retail, which brought her to CA in 1982. In 1985 she met and married Ronald Mobley. In 1988 after her daughter left for college, she decided to take a new career path and go back to school herself, earning a degree in Design. Carolyn became a highly sought after Bay Area Kitchen Designer. In 1995 she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Despite her disease, Carolyn continued to work, play, bowl, and enjoy her multiple Supper Clubs. She was well known as the party Queen for her annual parties. But most of all she loved being Nana Clause. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Melody Hawkins (Sean) granddaughters; Jessica, Taylor, Taralyn & Tiffany and great-granddaughters; Peyton & Korinna. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Mobley. Please help us Celebrate her life on Saturday, May 31st beginning at 2 pm at the DeAnza Clubhouse, 2395 Delaware Ave in Santa Cruz.
