Obituary of Robert Eugene Candau

After a long illness Robert went home to his Lord. He will be remembered as a loving husband, dad, grandfather and friend. Robert served his Country from 1942-1945 with the 363D Infantry in Italy and North Africa. He is survived by his loving wife Rosemarie, sons Robert G. Candau (Laura), Stephen Candau (Sharon), Richard Candau (Janet) and a daughter Jeanette Candau, as well as 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, a brother Larry in Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews. His sister Marie preceded him in death. Memorial Service will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Community Church 435 Monterey Ave. Capitola, CA. 95010. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 10:30am, and Mass will begin at 11:00am.
