Please accept our sincere condolences on your dear loss. Although we had met you and Dorothy for the first time on that trip, it felt like we knew each other already. What a privilege it was! I often fondly reflect on our trip together! Your mom was a wonderful, loving and caring lady. She loved to travel and you were able to help achieve that goal. We pray to God to grant eternal PEACE to the soul of the departed and strength and courage for you and the family to bear this irreparable loss. May her soul always rest in peace.

Our love and prayers are with you all. I have wonderful memories of your Mom.
She is one of the dearest saints in my book. Our years together at St. Andrew, and with your Dad too, were very special times.
I am thankful that her last moments were peaceful. She was a woman of Christ's peace.
I am thankful for Pastor Jim and Leslie Lapp and the congregation there, and their care for your Mom these last years.
Give each other a hug from me, as I remember your Mom with great thanksgiving to God.
I look forward to worshiping in heaven some day, with your parents.
God's blessings,
Pastor Steve

Hi: What a beautiful memorial. You know how close your Mom was to me. We were always "buddies"--lived together, worked together, got into "trouble" together!!
Your Mom was a beautiful person, I always looked up to her! I was so lucky to have her as my big sister. I think of her every day--all day.
You gals took such good care of her--I am proud of you. I only wish I could be there with you for her memorial. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs, and bunches of love, Aunt Cile

Though we knew Dorothy for only a short time, we quickly recognized her devotion to God, family, and friends. After years of faithfulness, she was missed when her physical condition prevented her attending the Bible Study at Spring Lakes. During recent months she was an inspiration to many when she attended Sunday worship and showed appreciation for all who offered her God's peace.
May you enjoy a rich life in your "new home," Dorothy, until we are raised together for the supreme life of resurrection.

Sending love and our thoughts to Susan and Christine and family. May you be blessed with beautiful memories to help you through this. We will remember Aunt Dorothy always - the last time we saw her was when she and girls came to visit the family in Minnesota several years ago. It was a wonderful visit.

Dorothy was a wonderful lady; we knew her for such a short time. She was so fun and even funny! Enjoyed her commitment to God and her interest in Bible group. She was a good neighbor and had a fun family that we could visit with!
Take care and celebrate the life well-lived.
Love, Chuck and Barbara

I am so blessed that I got to be a part of Dorthy's life. I was a caregiver for her for about a year and I loved spending time with her. She had the most beautiful smile and I loved our time reading together. My favorite thing was when I used to ask her how she was feeling, she would look at me with a mischievous grin and say "I feel with my fingers!" I will forever remember my time with Dorthy and her family!
Miss you Dorthy!

We were blessed to have moved to Whittier in 1989 and to have been close to Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Marvin. When my mother came to visit us, she also got to see her dear sister, Dorothy. They had a very special, close relationship that was wonderful to witness. We were always treated to some story or anecdote about their past. Dorothy was a warm, thoughtful woman with a memorable little grin and chuckle. She deserved to be cared for and loved like a precious treasure and she was by her devoted daughters, Susan and Christine - and Chris' husband, Kent. May the many cherished memories of their mother fill my cousins' hearts and bring them comfort.
