Obituary of John Vytautas Petrauskas

Services will be private for John Vytautas Petrauskas who passed away at home of natural causes, he was 63 years old. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, John was raised in Los Angeles graduating from Marshall High School and attended Cal State Northridge for 3 years. John enjoyed a career as a self-employed tennis instructor, and leaves many dear friends and colleagues that he coached and enjoyed playing with. John has resided in Santa Cruz for the past 28 years. His home was virtually on the Santa Cruz side of the Capitola City limits, and he would often comment that he lived in Capitola. John enjoyed playing tennis, surfing, bike riding, golf and reading. He survived by his brother, Al Petrauskas; his niece Lisa Petrauskas, and his nephew Joseph Petrauskas. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Sally Petrauskas of Capitola.
