Obituary of Michael Ralph Cruser

Michael Cruser, 66, passed away on January 28, 2014. "Cruser," born in Virginia, raised in North Carolina - a football star at Wake Forest High - joined the Marines out of high school. Cruser settled in Santa Cruz, California where he raised his family in what he called "paradise." A proud veteran of 2 tours in Vietnam, Cruser was a true patriot with a deep love for his country until the end. A larger than life personality, Cruser was always the center of any social gathering, constantly telling outrageous stories. He was a fixture at numerous local Santa Cruz establishments over the years, touching many people's lives along the way. He had a large and generous heart and was always trying to help those on hard times. Cruser will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Shirley, brother Toby, and sons Dave, Mike & Jason. Cruser - we love you and miss you! May you finally be at peace.
