Obituary of David Ralph Wehner

David Ralph Wehner died of respiratory failure in his Palo Alto home on December 26th, 2012, at the age of 61. He was born on January 4th, 1951 in San Jose, CA. David attended St. John Vianney Grammar School and graduated from Arch Bishop Mitty High School. As a youth, he was an Eagle Scout and after high school he enlisted in the Army and served as a medic during the Vietnam War. David was a devout Catholic and he made generous donations to the Miraculous Medal, a Catholic Charity, for over 25 years. David is survived by his mother, Margie Wehner, of Aptos, his 3 brothers; James Wehner of Alta Loma, Daniel Wehner of San Jose, Patrick Wehner of San Jose, his 3 sisters; Marianne Sheely of La Selva Beach, Nancy Vernazza of Felton, and Amy Wehner of Soquel, and 28 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Wehner, and his brother, Jeffery Wehner. David will be missed by his mother, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and all who knew him. Memorial mass will be held on January 5th, 2013 at 1:00pm at Resurrection Church in Aptos, CA. Contributions in Dave's memory to Miraculous Medal, 1811 West St. Joseph St, Perryville, MO 63775.
