I have great memories of Ron. He was the grandfather of mortgage banking in Santa Cruz County. He and I had a tradition of getting together every year on or near his birthday for lunch. I always enjoyed our conversations and I will never forget his voice on his answering machine "Good Morning America!" It was a joy to know Ron, and I have very good memories of my time spent with him.

I worked with Ron and Rosemary at Redwood Coast Mortgage - what a gang! Rosemary and I had a wonderful, fun relationship, and Ron was a delightful and very caring man. My girls would stop in on their way home from school and the atmosphere was never "too busy" for hugs. One special memory was for one of my daughter's 13th birthdays. Ron donned his straw hat and chauffeured 8 giggling girls dressed in 50's costume in his beloved "limo" downtown Santa Cruz to a 50's restaurant for malts, burgers and fries - what a kick.
Later in life, my husband and I would run into Ron & Rosemary walking on the beach, and after Rosemary's sad departure Ron & I had lunch a few times. He will remain in my heart as a unique and special person - always!

Ron would send his loans to the company I worked for. I had the pleasure of working with him on several of his loan transactions while at Western Sunrise. We built a great working relationship and I appreciated his professionalim and ethics. Every year I received a beautiful Christmas card from he and Rosemay with a beautiful picture of the ocean that he had taken. I really enjoyed working with him and considered him more than "just another broker". He was truly special and will be missed.

To all Ron's family and friends we extent our sincere condolences on his passing. We got to know Ron and Rosemary through his good friend Maurie. We were lucky enough for him to share his joy of magic with us and consider it a great honor and pleasure to have known such a wonderful man. We know he will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

We are very sorry to hear about your dad's death. He was a wonderful, friendly neighbor, always ready to greet us with a big smile and a wave when we passed his house. Our grand-daughters remember when he volunteered at Mountain School. They loved the stories he told!
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

What a privalege to have known both Rosemary and Ron! I knew them through my business in Aptos Village. I can still see him running with a bank deposit bag in hand. If we caught each others eye he would stop and chat. They were both truly good, kind & generous people.

My husband passed away a few months ago, so I must write this. Frank and Ron were in the Air Force together, back in the mid-1950s. He came to our wedding, and we to his with Rosemary. Lots of memories from his bachelor apt. on Broadway in SF to our last visit a couple of years ago in Aptos. Funny, smart, caring, ethical...in short, a good man.

I have many happy memories of visits with Ron and Rosemary during the years their, and my, children were growing up, both at their home in the Mission District of San Francisco, and later at their beautiful octagonal house in the Soquel woods. Ron was a gentle and caring man whose clown act brought happy smiles and laughter to those who knew him.
