Obituary of Julie Ricketts Cacace

Julie passed away peacefully at her home on October 17, 2013 with her family beside her. Julie met the love of her life, Don Cacace, while in high school. They married in 1976 and thereafter began the journey of building their home and raising their children, Taura and Tony. Julie's greatest passions were her children, her grandchildren and her husband Don. Julie loved reading, writing, nature, poetry, art and traveling. Above all else, being a loving mother and grandmother was most important to her. She leaves her adored children, Tony Cacace and Taura (Robert) Kimball; grandsons Aleczander and Sebastian Kimball; her loving sisters and best friends Loretta R. Smith and Sharon R. Struthers; and father Maurice "Rick" Ricketts. She also leaves her nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins and many loving and compassionate friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Don Cacace in 2007, and by her devoted mother Olivia Ricketts, in 2008. A memorial mass will be held at Holy Cross Church on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 9:30 am.
