Obituary of Evelyn Virginia Mullin

Evelyn Virginia Mullin, 97, passed away February 9, 2012, from complications of cancer. She moved to Santa Cruz in 1997, was a member of Gamma Eta chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, participated at Louden Nelson Community Center, and was a teacher's aide through the Foster Grandparent Program at Westlake Elementary School. Evelyn was born in Sacramento on December 24, 1914 to Raemonde Childers and Frank Evans Jacinto. Her first husband, John W. Mullin, predeceased her as did her second husband, Frederick Mansbacher. Evelyn is survived by daughter, Sharon, and her husband, Ted Marshall, of Berkeley, California; and twin sons Wayne Mullin and his partner, Paul Vincentt, and Gary Jacinto-Mullin and his partner, Peter J. Robinson, Jr., all of New York City; four siblings; loving nieces and nephews; and a granddaughter. A memorial celebration is planned for May.
