Obituary of Alejandra - Alcaraz

Alejandra Alcaraz passed away April 23, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in San Benito County. She was 19. Alejandra was born in Santa Cruz where she was raised. She attended Soquel High School and was a graduate of Renaissance High School. She was currently attending Healds College. She was described by her family as an outgoing person with an infectious smile. She was a loving and devoted friend. Alejandra also enjoyed music, dancing, photography and baking. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She is survived by her parents, Anabel Calleros and Daniel Ortega of Watsonville; brother, Adrian Alcaraz of Watsonville; sisters, Diana Namauleg and Janelle Namauleg both of San Jose; her grandmothers, Margarita Debora of Juarez, Mexico and Maria Gray of Santa Cruz and her grandfather, Arnulfo Calleros of Juarez, Mexico. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Elisa Calleros, Gorje Calleros, Gloria Calleros, Lupe Calleros, Lucy Calleros and Sofia Calleros all of Juarez, Mexico. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church 126 High St., Santa Cruz, CA on Tuesday May 1, 2012 at 11:00 am. A vigil prayer service will be held at Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel, 1050 Cayuga St., Santa Cruz, CA on Monday at 7:00 pm. Visitation will be held at Pacific Gardens Chapel on Monday from 1:00 pm until service time.
