Obituary of Jimmie L. Bell

Jimmie L. Bell Jimmie L. Bell passed away on June 18, 2011 in Santa Cruz at the age of 73. Jimmie was born August 26, 1937 in Lake Arthur, New Mexico to Orbe Bell and Ethel Bonnie Miles. The family moved to Fresno, CA, where Jimmie was raised. Jimmie served in the U.S. Navy and was a Gunner's Mate. Later, he worked as a welder for the Santa Cruz Water Department. Jimmie enjoyed the outdoors, he liked fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed woodworking, sketching and sculpture making. Jimmie is survived by his wife of 21 years, Joan Bell, his son Christopher Bell, step-son Mike Durkin and his brother, Tom Bell. A Celebration of Life will be held for Jimmie on July 16, 2011 at 2627 Mattison Lane from 1-3 pm.
