Obituary of Bianca M. Verner

Bianca M. Verner, 98, of Watsonville passed away comfortably, surrounded by her children, on March 10, 2012. Bianca was born on February 4, 1914 near Laurel, CA in the Santa Cruz Mountains where she subsequently grew up. She attended the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco in the early 1930's. In 1934, she married Carl J. Verner, resident of that City. Afterwards, Bianca devoted her life to raising her family, living mostly in the Los Angeles area. She was preceded in death by her mother, Caterina Mancarti, her father, Dominic Mancarti; her brothers, Stanley, Alfred, and William Mancarti and her sister, Joyce Mancarti. She is survived by her brother, Guy D. Mancarti, her children, David Verner, Katharine Moon, Danielle Verner and Rachelle Finneran, as well as eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A private memorial ceremony will be held at a later date.
