Diane Prilliman

Obituary of Diane Ruth Prilliman

03/19/1947-10/14/2011 Resident of Scotts Valley Diane Prilliman passed away peacefully in her home on October 14, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was only 64 years old. Diane was born in San Francisco on March 19th, 1947 to her adoring parents Rinaldo Angelini & Alice (Dimick) Angelini. At young age her family moved to Palo Alto, CA, and after graduating from Palo Alto High School in 1965, Diane headed west to Loma Mar. Four years later she made a move to Scotts Valley where she planted roots and raised her family. Diane always had a strong connection to her own spirit, and a keen sense of others spiritual state. She found a way to use her gift of helping others as a reverend. She provided spiritual guidance and counseling to the parishioners of The Universal Church of the Master in Santa Clara, for 40 years. Diane was always the first to extend her hand to someone in need. Her generosity, kindness, and spirituality were something to be in awe of. She was also known for her artistic eye. Diane loved being creative, whether it be painting, drawing, crafting or decorating, especially around the holidays. Diane will forever be remembered as a lover of every holiday. She would create a winter wonderland for Christmas, a bunny filled Easter, or a scary yet unique Halloween, for when you went Trick-or-Treating at Diane's house you could expect to receive a Beanie Baby as opposed to candy. She tried to make the holidays special for her family. Above everything Diane loved in life, nothing compared to her family. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her four children. Their happiness and safety was her priority, including the happiness and safety of her children's friends. All were welcome in her house, fed a delicious meal, and made to feel like they were part of her family. Private Services are planned for Diane who is survived by: her spouse of more then 10 years Tony Allen; her parents Rinaldo & Alice Angelini, her daughter Cindy Ciolino; her sons Jason Smith, Jesse Angelini, & Lucas Prilliman; her brother Dennis Angelini; her 2 nieces; and her 4 loving grandchildren.
