Obituary of Margaret Alice Semmens

Margaret A. Semmens Margaret Semmens passed away July 6, 2011 at her home in Santa Cruz, at 93 years of age. She was born in Michigan on February 22, 1918 one of three children of Alfred and Margaret Goodman. She grew up in Sacramento and Jackson, California and moved to Santa Cruz in 1939. Margaret worked many years at Woolworth's on Pacific Avenue. Margaret enjoyed her family and enjoyed spending time around her home. She is survived by her son, Tom Semmens and his wife Pam of Red Bluff; son in law, Dallas Laatsch of Watsonville; granddaughter, Chris Grecco and a grandson, Rob Laatsch. She is also survived by four great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Margaret Alice Laatsch; two brothers, Lloyd Goodman and Bob Goodman and her parents. A private cremation and scattering at sea is under the direction of Benito & Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel.
