Obituary of Ruben Servin

Ruben Servin passed away unexpectedly on September 13, 2011 in Capitola. He was only 39 years old. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico on June 8, 1972 to Armando Servin and Maria Antonia Laureno. He came to Santa Cruz when he was 14 and, has been a resident for the past 25 years. Ruben was one of the lucky few who loved what he did for a living. He had a passion for cars. He took pride in the fact that he could work on any kind of car, and his career as a mechanic spanned two decades. Ruben is survived by; his parents Armando Servin & Maria Antonia Laureno; his children Ruben Jr., Hector, Michelle, and April; his brothers Armando Servin Jr., Jose Servin, Luis Servin, and Javier Servin; and his sisters Maribel Servin and Adriana Servin. Friends can come and pay their respects on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 3-6 p.m. at Pacific Gardens Chapel 1050 Cayuga St. Santa Cruz, CA 95062. A rosary service is planned to begin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 23, 2011 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Star of The Sea Church 515 Frederick St. Santa Cruz, CA 95062
