Obituary of Dennis Torchio

Dennis Joseph Torchio passed away on May 20, 2013 at his home. He was 65 years old. Dennis was born on April 24, 1948 to Egidio and Victoria Torchio. He was born and raised in Santa Cruz, and worked for the city of Santa Cruz for many years. Dennis is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was an avid painter, a martial artist, and musician, and he loved riding motorcycles. Dennis is survived by his children, Vanessa Record, Matias Torchio, and Sergio Torchio, as well as his brother, Donald Torchio, two grandchildren, three nieces, one nephew, and one aunt and uncle. A Service for Dennis will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel beginning at 11 am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network, 4915 St. Elmo Avenue, Suite 202, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
