Obituary of Sydney Jackson

Sydney Jackson passed away peacefully at home with her family at her bedside. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who brought so much happiness to all the lives she touched. Born in Berkeley, Calif., she and her husband were residents of Fresno for more than 40 years and cherished the beautiful family memories that were made at their summer home in Aptos. She is survived by her loving husband Don Jackson; her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Julie Jackson; son Derek Jackson; daughter, Stephanie Jackson, and three beautiful grandsons, Ethan, Griffin, and Ryan Jackson. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Pajaro Valley Memorial Park beside her parents Max and Marjorie Pamphilon. To honor Sydney, any kind acts of charity may be made to the Dominican Hospital Foundation (1555 Soquel Drive, Santa Cruz, CA. 95065). All donations will benefit the Dominican Hospital Cancer Center which provided loving and outstanding care to Sydney during her final journey.
