Your mom sounds like a really wonderful woman. You have always spoken so highly of her and I can see why. It was nice to read even more about how committed to family and community she was throughout her life. We will send a contribution to the the local PEO chapter for their scholarship fund in Dorothy's name.

Dorothy's obit in today's Stockton Record saddened us. We know Bill must be grieving, as is the whole family.
Dorothy was such a wonderful person, wife, and mother...she was the epitome of a lovely lady in full sense of the word.
We fondly cherish our memories of her...dinners in their home...our times together with the other Judges...week-ends at the Judges' conferences...and a particularly special weekend in your Aptos home.
It's been a very special friendship.
Althouugh we will miss Dorothy too, we know Bill and the family will be comforted by all the golden memories of Dorothy and by the close and loving Biddick family.
Our warmest condolences, Frank & Pat Kim.

Dorothy was a person who always inspired my trust and respect. She provided guidance to me as a child, and patience with me as a teen. She encouraged my membership at Central Methodist Church, carpooled me to junior high and high school, and cheered me on when I was accepted to Cal, her alma mater. She hosted a beautiful engagement party for Jim and I. She inspired me with her dedication to education, and she produced Joan, my long time dear friend. Bill, Joan, Tom, John, Carolyn and Barbara please accept my sympathy, but also my gratitude that she was part of my life.

Dear Bill, Joan, Tom, John, Carolyn and Barbara.
It is with great sadness that I read of your mothers passing. Words cannot describe all the great times we had on Mariposa Ave from 1955 on. A lot has changed in the years since then but the memories are still vivid of those days. I do wish you all the best and my tnoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. Bill Fisher

Bill and family.
It has taken a month to find out where you are. I heard about Dorothy's passing from my step sister in Stockton. Your wife and mother was a close friend to my mother Delaine. I have many pictures of her as a young girl I would love to share with you. I just don't have an address. Dorothy provided me with small memories of my mother that are precious to me. She had a great life.
Love,
Brian

Dear Bill, Leonard. Joan and Per, John and Margie: My heart is with you all in your loss of Dorothy. My friendship goes back to Verner and Myrtle. and Leonard. I entered Cal in the fall of 1941 and found Dorothy there in my mother's Sigma Kappa house. I have cherished the friendship and admired Dorothy's great accomplishments during these many years.
