Roommate, co-parent, navigator of the mini-bus, friend with the right aroma for the moment, guy who could make you laugh so hard with just one LOOK. Wow, Does anyone else quote him? "Exactly who is she, what is her trip and why is she in our movie?" Exclusive at times, but ready to share whatever looked good. Aloha nui loa Big Cat!

After Alley's recent passing I had his picture leaning against a dark red candle. It was not lit. During the night I woke up around 3 am and talked to him asking him to please make some time to come and visit with me on his journeys to all his friends. In the morning when I was getting my daughter ready for school I passed the place where his picture was and it shifted. It looked as though the candle was illuminated, it couldn't have been because I didn't light it. I peered over the top of the candle and it WAS lit! I couldn't believe it! I kept trying to figure out some rational reason, some Earthly way that it was lit, but I know now what happened, and have accepted that this was my friends message to me. When I saw this "Light a Candle" I smiled to myself, now I can return the favor! That candle burned for 4 days! 4 DAYS! I didn't even know a candle could burn that long... peace, to you my friend, love & light! I miss you so much already! Jen Murphy

Alley you gave me your beautiful fuchsia corduroy shirt and it kept me warm during the coldest winter of my life. You always knew just what to give when. I'll miss you fellow traveler and see on the edges of the crooked frames in Bali!

Over 40 years ago Mom (Judi) brought you home. You have been apart of my life and our family since. You became so important in my Mom's life and my older brother, which brought out the sibling rivalry., both fighting for her attention and over the coffee creamer or half and half...(hehehe). You made sure that, (during my last few visits with you) I knew that you understood and loved me and the feeling mutual. I am so very grateful for those moments. Love you "My Brother" you will be missed but never forgotten! Doni

Beloved Friend, I miss you, the conversations that lasted through the long nights. The hope and the fear, the ridiculous laughter, the moments that seemed that they would go on forever, but didn't. And the forever of this moment. Can you feel how you changed us?
I adore you. v
