Obituary of Rose Marie Demler

Friends and family will gather on Sunday, March 10th at 2:30 at the Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz to honor the life of Rose Marie Demler who passed away with her loving family at her bedside on February 25, 2013. A loving mom and grandmother, she died at her Santa Cruz home following a very sudden illness. Born in Buffalo, New York, Rose lived for many years in Massachusetts, and moved to Santa Cruz with her children 15 years ago. She worked at Oak Tree Villa Retirement Community for the past 8 years, and leaves many dear friends, residents and colleagues that will miss her very much. Her family was of paramount importance in her life. She displayed courage in her illness, and continued to place others needs before her own. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Nicole and James Parmentier and their children, Jeanavive and Jackson; her daughter, Sara Demler and her son, Joseph Demler all of Santa Cruz.
