Obituary of Maie G. Cullom

Maie Cullom passed away at her Santa Cruz home on December 13th, she was 94 years old. Maie was born in San Jose on March 23, 1918 to John & Luetta Goodman. Her family relocated to Santa Cruz when Maie was 2 and she has been here ever since. Maie worked for the county of Santa Cruz as a document clerk for more than 20 years. She was widowed at a young age, but in 1957 she married Lawrence Cullom who welcomed her and her son John Wright into his family. Maie worked for the Welcome Wagon as well as being an active member of The Eastern Star and the Masonic Temple. Maie enjoyed the time she spent with friends playing bridge and spending time with her family. Maie is survived by, her 2 daughters Teresa Wright & Judith Hickey, 6 grandchildren & numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son John Wright (1977) and her husband Lawrence (1999). A Funeral Service will be held for Maie on Monday, December 17th, 2012 at the United Methodist Church (250 California St. Santa Cruz, 95060) beginning at 10:00 a.m followed by her interment at Oakwood Memorial Park.
