Carmen Elsa Rossi de Morris died Tuesday, the 18th of December. She passed on peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. Carmen was born in Buenos Aires Argentina on July 16th 1921 and immigrated to California with her husband William Lester Morris in January of 1953. She moved to Felton when widowed seven years ago. Carmen was forever generous, keenly aware that life was not about material possession, but about family and friends. She was an artist, wrote children's plays, and taught Spanish for 10 years at the Carey School in San Mateo. She was a devout Catholic, mother and loving wife. She is survived by her sister Marisa Rossi; 3 children Maria Morris, Maryanne Northedge, and William Lester Morris III; 2 grandchildren Carmen Clark and Thomas de Almeida; and her 2 great grandchildren Maria Rose Clark and Ivan William Clark IV. Carmen will be missed by the many who loved her and were touched by her generosity. A Funeral Mass will be held for Carmen on Saturday, December 22 at St. Michael's Church(13005 Pine Street Boulder Creek 95006)beginning at 10:30 a.m.
